If you attach your press-ons with adhesive stickers , you can use them until they no longer look good to you. However, before reusing them, make sure that no adhesive residue remains on the underside and that all oil residue is removed. If you attach your press-ons with nail glue , you will most likely only be able to use them once, as removal requires a remover that will probably alter the appearance of your press-ons. Furthermore, the glue residue is very difficult to remove.
It is important that the nail plate is thoroughly cleaned with an alcohol-soaked cleansing wipe after roughening and before applying the press-ons, in order to remove any oily residue from the nail. Only in this way can optimal adhesion be guaranteed.
Press-on nails are not suitable for use on artificially extended nails. For optimal adhesion, press-on nails must be applied directly to clean, natural nails. This is the only way the adhesive or adhesive sticker can bond properly and ensure durability.
We strongly advise against filing the press-ons into a different shape, as filing the nail tip can loosen the seal of the top coat, causing it to peel over time. It's best to only file the sides of the press-ons to make them narrower.
